Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to develop and implement effective mental health treatment plans, integrating services provided both on-site and through external partners.

• Deliver training on mental health concepts and crisis interventions to medical, psychiatric, and security personnel, enhancing the overall capability of our staff to support patients effectively.

• Respond to and manage mental health emergencies within the facility, utilizing your skills to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.

• Participate in commitment hearings and other legal proceedings related to patient care as required, advocating for our clients' mental health needs.

• Create individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals, addressing specific needs and circumstances of each patient.
\n
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and communications, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Safeguard patient confidentiality and the integrity of medical records at all times, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines.

• Conduct thorough verification of patients' mental health histories, including reviewing medications and prior treatment outcomes.

• Prepare regular and specialized reports to communicate mental health status and progress to the medical team.

• Facilitate post-release referrals by collaborating with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning out of our services.

Qualifications\n
