What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures.
• Assist with visitor management access control and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient care and public areas.
• Document patrols incidents and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
