Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychosocial needs of clients entering the detox center.

• Develop evidence-based, individualized care plans that address clients' unique situations, focusing on their recovery goals and personal challenges.

• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, using therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of individuals in detoxification.

• Provide crisis intervention support when necessary, ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of clients during their treatment.

• Advocate for clients, helping them gain access to necessary resources and community services, such as housing, employment, and mental health support.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and progress notes accurately and timely in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and addiction counselors, to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders, treatment options, and recovery resources.

This role primarily focuses on clients admitted to our detox center undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. The challenges faced by these individuals vary widely; you will encounter clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique histories and needs. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
