Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive virtual mental health assessments of patients, carefully considering their personal history, presenting issues, and unique risk factors related to hospice care.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, focusing on emotional well-being and helping patients navigate their hospice journey with dignity.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to support patients and their family members.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions through virtual platforms, addressing grief, anxiety, and challenges associated with end-of-life issues.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and palliative care specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation strategies and making referrals for increased levels of care when necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
