Regional Commercial Head - Exterior Coatings and Services

Are you an experienced and commercially driven professional, willing to take full responsibility for sales performance, profitability and strategic growth within DACH, Netherlands and Belgium region? In this senior leadership role you will shape and execute regional commercial strategy aligned with the global Exterior business roadmap, with a strong focus on new business development, market expansion and strategic portfolio growth. Acting as a key commercial leader for the Exterior products and services portfolio, you will collaborate closely with global stakeholders to strengthen market position and deliver sustainable growth and lead a team of professionals located within dedicated region (Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands and Belgium). This role is based in Germany and involves regular travel within the region to support customers, teams and strategic initiatives. Daily tasks and responsibilities Own and drive regional Exterior unit sales growth, margin and profitability in line with global and regional targets Develop and execute regional commercial strategy and action plans aligned with the global Exterior strategy Lead a small regional commercial team, fostering a strong growth and hunter culture, ensuring motivation, consistent competence development and target achievement Identify, develop and convert new business and market development opportunities across the region Lead opportunity pipeline management, customer risk management and sales forecasting Drive pricing, contracting, owning regional sales budgeting and performance monitoring Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, R&D, operations and technical services Oversee regional technical service operations, training hubs and customer journey execution Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support global strategic decisions Key skills and qualifications Several years of experience in senior commercial roles, preferably within a B2B industrial or technical environment e.g. building materials, paints, coatings or related products Proven leadership experience, managing scattered geographically sales teams, with strong people development and coaching capabilities Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans combined with hands‑on, practical approach in active sales Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and commercial results ownership Experience in market analysis, competitor benchmarking and portfolio management Technical curiosity with an interest and general understanding of chemical industry regulations Proficiency in CRM tools and data‑driven decision making Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal Willingness to travel as required within the region A leading role in a regional commercial team with real impact on business performance Opportunity to shape, develop and implement international sales strategies Dynamic and diverse working environment with colleagues across different countries and functions Flexibility through hybrid work and modern tools Opportunities for professional development and international career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Teknos
