General Production WorkerWe are seeking dedicated candidates to join our team as material handlers in a dynamic plastic pipe extrusion company. In this role, you will be responsible for removing pipe from the extrusion machine and stacking it onto racks. Once the rack is full, you will band the pipe to prepare it for transport to the scales for weighing. You will also perform visual checks on the pipe and load any defective pipes onto scrap pallets. Work shifts are 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am on a 2,2,3 schedule, with work every other weekend. This pattern allows for significant time off, totaling 5 to 6 months per year. Please note that the work environment is dusty and not climate controlled.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.60/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
