An expert level role responsible for leading automation projects, advanced PLC programming, and integrating cutting-edge technologies into plant operations. This position ensures the highest level of automation reliability, compliance with network and cybersecurity requirements and continuous improvement in food manufacturing. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform specialized production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.## **Work Schedule:**Monday-Friday, 630 am - 230 pmOvertime is possible and will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** **PLC Programming & System Design*** Develop and optimize PLC programs from scratch to enhance plant efficiency.* Lead HMI and SCADA development, integrating new automation solutions.* Assist in setting up VM’s on housed servers to allow additional optimization of plant equipment.**System Maintenance & Network Optimization*** Monitor and maintain Asset Centre to optimize the recording and housing of PLC programs and documentation for secure access and traceability of changes.* Maintain RDWEB to optimize use by both in-house teams and contractors for system across and troubleshooting.* Work with Fanuc Robots to make minor programming changes and support process improvements.* Collaborate with Corporate OT Engineering to stay up to date with network requirements and industry best practices.* Work with Rockwell Call Center to assist in upgrades and optimization of the OT Network**Process Improvement & Leadership*** Identify opportunities for AI and machine learning-driven automation improvements.* Implement Industrial loT (lloT) and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance plant performance.* Lead large-scale automation projects, including vendor coordination and system upgrades.**Compliance & Regulatory Standards*** Ensure all electrical, automation, and network systems meet OSHA, NEC, FDA, and GMP regulations.* Document all system modifications and troubleshooting efforts in SAP.**Other Requirements*** Advanced knowledge of pneumatic systems and automated control applications.* Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.* Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shift flexibility as needed.* Trains others.* Fills in for other positions, as necessary.* Other duties as assigned.## ## **Benefits & Compensation Overview:*** Medical- Marketplace with multiple providers and tiers to choose from* Holidays- 10 Company Paid Holidays/year* Vacation- available after successful completion of 90 days of employment* Dental- Marketplace with multiple providers and tiers to choose from* Medical- Marketplace with multiple providers and tiers to choose from* Vision- Marketplace with multiple providers and tiers to choose from* 401k with company matching* Additional perks: Paid Parental Leave, Bereavement Leave, Pet Insurance, (EAP) Employee Assistance Program, Group Legal Protection* (HRA) Health Reimbursement Account or (HSA) Health Savings Account.* Starting Pay $40.07/hr* Bonus Potential Annual 3.5% of annual earnings (FOIP) Field Operations Incentive Plant* *Non-Union facility*## ## **Plant & Community Overview:**Community Overview:* Welcome to the City of Mason: On June 1, 1803, Revolutionary War veteran William Mason paid $1,700 at an auction to purchase 640 acres of land in what is now downtown Mason.* Mason is located 22 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio.* Mason is home to one of the largest tennis stadiums in the world, the Lindner Family Tennis Center, home of the Western & Southern Open, one of the world's top tennis tournaments for both men and women.
