Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized mental health treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Provide in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to promote understanding and effective interventions related to mental health issues.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Attend commitment hearings when required, representing the clinic’s protocols and patient evaluations.
\n
• Document all patient interactions meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with applicable regulations.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Conduct thorough reviews of patient histories, verifying past treatments and any medications, particularly psychotropic drugs.

• Prepare regular and special reports to track patient progress and assist in ongoing program evaluations.

• Coordinate with nursing staff to facilitate referrals for post-release follow-up care to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
