Sales Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining a strong book of business near Richmond, VA by engaging with current and prospective clients. You will conduct face-to-face meetings to assess their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and represent some of the most prominent brands in metal fabrication and robotic welding. Key Responsibilities Develop and nurture client relationships through in-person meetings, identifying opportunities and providing effective solutions. Represent leading industry brands while addressing client requirements in metal fabrication and robotic welding equipment. Perform cold calls and travel to customer sites to expand your territory and drive sales growth. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. Manage sales activities with a focus on achieving targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in sales within the manufacturing industry. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including executives and CEOs. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and customer-oriented mindset. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in computers, finance, and business principles. Enthusiasm for cold calling and willingness to travel to client locations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment. Compensation and Benefits Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, plus expenses. Commission structure starting at 30% and scaling up to 45%, with potential to transition to a straight commission plan.
