Volunteer Treasurer (Board Member)

Girl Let Go Inc. is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Treasurer to serve on our Board of Directors. The Treasurer will help oversee the organization’s financial health, review bank statements, maintain financial records, monitor budgets, ensure transparency and accountability, and provide financial updates to the Board.

Expected Responsibilities:

• Review monthly bank statements and financial reports
• Track income, donations, and expenses
• Ensure financial records are maintained accurately
• Assist with annual reporting and compliance requirements
• Participate in board meetings
• Support fundraising and grant reporting efforts as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, banking, business administration, or related fields preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to the mission of Girl Let Go Inc.
• Willingness to complete a background screening

Time Commitment:

Approximately 3–5 hours per month, plus attendance at board meetings.

Because Girl Let Go Inc. is new and has limited funds, many experienced nonprofit professionals understand that board positions are volunteer roles. In fact, most nonprofit treasurers serve as volunteers.
