Emergency Room Registered Nurse Emergency Nursing

Schedule: Variable shifts - 3x12 hours: Day/Eve flex (0700, 0900, 1100, 1300, or 1500).

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required.
• Previous clinical experience desired.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs and medical history.
• Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring critical cases are attended first.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as per physician orders.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and responses to care accurately.
• Ensure that patients' rights, dignity, and preferences are respected during care.

Compliance / Notes:

Must participate in required education for relevant programs as applicable to position. Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.
