This contract assignment, based near Eden Prairie, MN, offers a full-time, long-term substitute position for a leave coverage in Edina, MN. The role is set to begin on August 31 and will continue through approximately October 14, making it an ideal fit for professionals seeking impactful, short-term work.
In this position, you’ll support a dynamic middle school with a caseload of around 40 students. Your focus will be on assessment, intervention, and collaborative support, working alongside dedicated educators and families. If you’re seeking supervision experience, experienced SLPs have the opportunity to supervise a Clinical Fellow (CF) during this assignment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP license for Minnesota, with CCCs preferred
- Ability to supervise a CFY, if interested
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Comfortable with a diverse middle school caseload
- Skilled in collaboration, communication, and individualized intervention planning
- Strong commitment to educational excellence and student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to middle school students
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state standards
- Offer supervision for a CF, if applicable
