Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students by providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate clinicians eager to work with young learners, covering an FMLA leave from the beginning of the school year through Thanksgiving—with the possibility of extension. Enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule with 40 hours per week, working alongside a dedicated team of educators and specialists.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) OR those in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also considered
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- State licensure (or eligibility) required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with articulation, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs within the classroom environment
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff trainings as needed
