Kitchen Supervisor

The Kitchen Supervisor at Jonesboro Dwarf House will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of the restaurant, ensuring food quality, safety and cleanliness standards are met, and managing a team of kitchen staff. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in Jonesboro, Georgia with a salary of $18 per hour, paid biweekly. Compensation & Benefits: Salary of $18 per hour, paid biweekly Full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Discounted meals at Jonesboro Dwarf House Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Ensure that all recipes and portion sizes are followed accurately to maintain food quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment Monitor inventory and place orders for food and supplies as needed Create and implement kitchen operational procedures and policies to improve efficiency and productivity Enforce food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and specials that align with customer preferences and dietary restrictions Conduct regular inventory and cost analysis to maintain profitability Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner Requirements: Experience working as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a hospitality/restaurant setting preferred Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in inventory and cost control management Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed High school diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
