This division has responsibility to build and drive the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech.We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Performance Insights to join the Expedia & Portfolio team at Expedia Group. This role will be responsible for generating business performance insights for Expedia Lodging, which is the largest and fastest growing business in the Expedia portfolioThis is a fantastic opportunity to join the surging travel industry and help drive the business forward while working on impactful and complex problems. You will partner closely with Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Product & Tech and Supply teams to create compelling business performance insights to help Expedia & Portfolio brands win in the marketplace. What you’ll do: Own analysis of key site metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, GBV, cancellations, take rate, GP) across multiple dimensions such as Brand, Geo, Experience (or platform), Channel, and Line of BusinessSet annual performance targets, linked with strategic initiatives, and reforecast the targets regularly in close partnership with Finance and business leadsMonitor and drive performance towards those targets, including by optimizing spend allocation and by identifying short- and long-term underlying drivers of performancePrepare and deliver communications via differing vehicles, ensuring various audiences (including ditrector+) have the right level of detailEstablish trusted working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Analytics) and build rapport to become a trusted advisorWho you are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master’s degree preferred6+ years of experience in business management, ecommerce, analytics or financial planning within the travel and/or tech industryUnderstanding of financial metrics, forecasting, and budgetingVery strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to generate key insights and actions for the businessAbility to influence and collaborate with various levels of the organizationStrong Experience in SQL and Tableau/ Python preferredThe total cash range for this position in Austin is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
