Location: Lexington, KY. Job Summary The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics seeks a Division Chief for the Division of Gastroenterology. The Chief will develop an expanded program, including increased clinic availability; expand faculty and staff; develop gastroenterology research opportunities; and teach medical learners, thereby advancing the division, department, and college’s goals in education, service, and research consistent with the mission of the College. Responsibilities Develop and expand the gastroenterology program with increased clinic availability. Expand faculty and staff to support program growth. Foster and develop research opportunities in gastroenterology. Teach medical learners across the program. Ensure alignment with the division, department, and college goals in education, service, and research. Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent. Minimum residency training in pediatric gastroenterology. Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky. Eligible for certification by, or certified by, the American Board of Pediatrics and the sub‑board of Pediatric GI.
