Accounts Payable Specialist I

Embodies IOOGA (Integrity, Our People, Our Customers, Growth and Attitude) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoots and resolves invoices with 3-way match exceptions. Seeks invoice and good-receipts (GR) approvals. Identifies valid proof of delivery (POD) for goods-receipts (GR) for store inventory accuracy. Detects valid pricing discrepancies. Calculates deductions and paybacks as needed. Assists employees and/or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures and services Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service Other duties as assigned Qualifications This position requires a minimum of two years of accounts payable experience. Experience with SAP or other accounting related software is required. Proven analytical skills is required. Proficient in alpha and numeric data entry by touch is required, 10 key by touch and a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm are required. Proficient in Microsoft office, including skills in Word and Excel, is necessary. This position also requires excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. The ability to work within a team and serve as a trusted expert for assigned duties is necessary. In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential. Treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key. Educational Requirements This position requires a high school diploma or GED. Additional college level accounting, finance or math classes are beneficial. Work Days Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary. Work Hours Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
