Key Qualifications:

• Possession of an active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities for working with educators, staff, and families
• Exceptional organizational skills for managing varying student needs and documentation
• Passion for helping students succeed and grow within the school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of 45–60 students with varying support minutes
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to implement interventions and monitor progress
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multi-disciplinary support team for students
• Stay current with best practices and therapy techniques for school-based OT
