Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students’ communication skills in a dynamic, onsite contract position. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), you’ll work from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with a caseload of 70-80 direct-service elementary students, primarily in group sessions and always under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas SLPA License, issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards in school-based settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision
• Implement treatment plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
• Collect data on student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Contribute to student IEPs by providing insights and progress documentation as requested
• Foster a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages each child’s growth and self-expression
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
