Host / Reservationist

Position Overview

Lolita is seeking a polished, personable, and highly organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Host/Hostess plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and elevated dining experience while maintaining an efficient flow throughout the space.

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, seating assignments, and guest requests efficiently.
• Coordinate with servers, managers, and other front-of-house team members to maintain smooth service.
• Monitor table availability and manage the dining room's seating flow.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when appropriate.
• Answer guest questions about the restaurant, menu, reservations, and events.
• Handle phone calls and reservation inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and front entrance.
• Communicate special occasions, VIP guests, allergies, accessibility needs, and other guest preferences to the appropriate team members.
• Assist the team during busy periods and contribute to an energetic, positive restaurant environment.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, confident, and welcoming personality.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and brunch shifts as needed.
