Location: Milpitas, CA – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hour W2

Position Overview

SanDisk is seeking a Communications Specialist to support its Global Operations Communications team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing clear, engaging internal communications and supporting digital communication channels, projects, and campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of communications experience, is a strong writer and editor, and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once. This person should also be comfortable taking technical or complex information and turning it into clear, easy-to-understand messaging for employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish internal communications, including emails, newsletters, SharePoint content, presentations, and employee campaigns.
• Translate technical and complex topics into clear communications for non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate content reviews, stakeholder feedback, approvals, and publishing.
• Support employee engagement, change communications, and leadership communications.
• Maintain and update SharePoint and other internal communication channels.
• Create presentations, basic graphics, templates, and other communications materials.
• Track communications activities, metrics, and recurring reports.
• Manage multiple communications projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, corporate communications, digital communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Experience with SharePoint, intranet platforms, or digital communication channels.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information in a simple, engaging way.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work onsite in Milpitas three days per week.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting technology, IT, or cybersecurity-related communications.
• Change management or employee engagement experience.
• Experience with communications analytics, Excel, Power BI, or dashboards.
• Familiarity with Copilot, Power Automate, or other AI-enabled productivity tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
