Pharmacy Technician Contract Role

We're hiring an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract role at a compounding pharmacy in Greenwood Village, CO. In this position you will support pharmacists by preparing IVs, filling prescriptions, and assisting with prepackaging and dispensing under direct pharmacist supervision. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support billing data entry for reimbursement, and help ensure a clean and calibrated work environment. Training for sterile compounding may be provided for candidates without prior sterile experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active State Pharmacy Technician license or registration to practice in CO.
• Prior pharmacy technician experience in a community, compounding, or institutional setting.
• Experience performing IV/aseptic compounding preferred. Willingness to train available for candidates without sterile compounding experience; note that experience may impact submission level.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems for prescription filling and billing data entry.
• Ability to work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and follow regulatory standards for packaging, labeling, and inventory control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PTCB certification preferred.
• Experience with sterile IV clean room compounding preferred.
• Previous experience with inventory control procedures and lot/expiration tracking preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1800.
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
• Onsite work at a compounding pharmacy in Greenwood Village, CO.
• May require rotating start/end times as workload requires.
