Eaton\u2019s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Channel Account Manager. This is a remote role that can be located anywhere in the United States, with preference for those residing east of the Mississippi.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Channel Account Manager (CAM) will work as part of a team dedicated to strengthening Eaton\u2019s datacenter and power infrastructure business within CDW. This role focuses on driving technical and commercial alignment across sales teams, sales leadership, and CDW Solution Architects, with a heavy emphasis on UPS systems, IT racks, power distribution, and datacenter physical infrastructure.\n\nThe CAM will partner closely with CDW Power ISA\u2019s and Field Sellers to identify, qualify, and close complex power and datacenter opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting technical discovery around load requirements, redundancy architecture, runtime needs, rack elevation planning, airflow and thermal considerations, and solution compatibility within customer IT environments. The candidate will support quoting and configuration for UPS (1-phase \u0026 3-phase), rack enclosures, ePDU/PDUs, monitoring solutions, and supporting connectivity.\n\nThe CAM will maintain strong customer and partner relationships through consultative, technically informed selling. They will also develop and execute targeted sales and marketing programs, lead advanced product trainings, run workshops, and support revenue growth for Eaton\u2019s datacenter product portfolio within CDW.\n\nIn this function you will: \n\n * Drive CDW channel sales of Eaton Distributed IT, 3-phase UPS, and datacenter infrastructure solutions\n * Engage CDW Power ISA\u2019s and Field Sellers to support technical discovery, solution design, power sizing, runtime calculations, and rack/power layout recommendations.\n * Create and execute technical-focused marketing initiatives and sales programs that highlight Eaton\u2019s advantages in power quality, scalability, monitoring, and datacenter resiliency.\n * Analyze market trends and competitive architectures (UPS topologies, lithium-ion battery systems, modular 3-phase solutions, rack designs, intelligent PDU platforms) to enhance Eaton\u2019s competitive positioning within the CDW ecosystem.\n * Deliver advanced technical training sessions on UPS technologies, power distribution, rack integration, and datacenter design best practices.\n * Interpret sales and product adoption data to identify high-growth verticals, gaps in 3-phase UPS penetration, and opportunities to attach racks, PDUs, and monitoring software. \n * Manage a technically qualified pipeline in Salesforce.com, ensuring accuracy on power requirements, deployment timelines, and competitive positioning. \n * Provide detailed reporting to leadership on sales performance, product mix, technical trends, competitive movements, and datacenter solution attach rates.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution\n * Minimum 5 years of sales experience\n * IT Channel experience\n * Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver\u2019s license\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, IT, or Technical Business fields.\n * 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, power systems, datacenter hardware, or technical channel sales.\n * CDW experience\n * Strong verbal, written, and technical presentation skills.\n * Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts such as UPS sizing, single vs. three phase power, rack integration, PDU architecture, and basic datacenter power distribution principles.\n * Business professional with the ability to execute good judgment and demonstrate personal integrity\n * Self\u2011motivated with strong follow\u2011through in complex, multi-product sales cycles.\n * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed technical quotes and multi-component solutions.\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Criteria:\n\n * 50% Travel; ability to travel to CDW offices frequently\n * Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills\n * Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience.\n * Demonstrated problem-solving ability\n * Ability to learn market influences.\n * Customer service skills\n * Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.\n * Superior knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations and employee development\n * Experience in growing sales and market share, channel development and developing employee talent \n\n\n\nThe compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive.
