Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role, allowing for flexibility in your working hours while you connect with clients primarily through telehealth platforms. The remote setup can help you maintain work-life balance while catering to the needs of clients who may not have easy access to in-person services. However, depending on client schedules, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate their needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and challenges of clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to gather necessary data.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues and incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Provide ongoing individual, group, and family counseling sessions, adapting your approach based on client feedback and progress.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress towards established treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to plans as required.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create a cohesive care strategy that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Deliver crisis intervention services promptly and effectively for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals grappling with mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and major life transitions such as divorce, grief, and relationship challenges. Our clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, addressing the unique background and needs of each client to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.

• A valid clinical social work license (LCSW) in the state of Virginia is required.

• Proven experience in providing clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention in a mental health setting.

• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
