Financial Analyst

Contract Duration: August 17, 2026 – January 29, 2027 Pay Rate: Starting at $35.00/hour About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support capital projects through all phases of planning, design, and construction. This individual will partner with project managers and cross‑functional teams to provide financial oversight, cost analysis, forecasting, and project controls support. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. What You'll Do Support multiple project managers simultaneously across projects in various stages of design and construction. Develop, implement, and maintain project cost reports, cash flow analyses, forecasts, and financial reporting. Monitor project budgets and schedules, performing variance analysis to identify risks and recommend corrective actions. Administer the project change control process by tracking risks, trends, and change orders. Perform quality reviews of project controls deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency. Lead recurring project controls meetings and communicate financial updates to project stakeholders. Develop and maintain project controls tools, templates, and reporting systems. Create and maintain project estimates aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Compare project schedules with financial data to ensure alignment between project timelines and budgets. Analyze project controls reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to project leadership. Track budgets against open commitments and subcontract expenditures. Review prime contract, purchase order, and subcontract change orders. Manage and reconcile data across multiple project management and financial systems. Serve as a resource for Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Construction teams regarding project controls and financial questions. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, project controls, cost management, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP, Coupa, EcoSys, and/or Unifier is preferred. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and macros. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
