Operational Specialist

Our client, a Global Investment Management Firm , is looking to hire an Operations Specialist in New York, NY . Pay Rate Range: $90,000–$105,000 annually + annual incentive bonus, depending on experience Responsibilities Oversee and test transfer agent and distribution policies related to processing, call centers, and compliance Monitor shareholder registrations and conduct market timing reviews Support U.S. and internationally registered funds throughout the full lifecycle of investment accounts Manage the production and mailing of shareholder prospectuses and annual reports Consolidate and distribute large trade notifications to Portfolio Managers Collect, organize, and analyze complex operational and shareholder data Manage multiple operational priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy Support shareholder services and administrative processes as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field 5+ years of relevant experience within asset management or financial services Mutual fund experience is required Experience with Interval Funds, BDCs, ETFs, or Irish investment funds (ICAV) preferred Familiarity with Transfer Agency applications; SS&C experience preferred Series 6 and 63 licenses preferred but not required Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze complex data Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Competitive base salary of $90,000–$105,000, commensurate with skills and experience Generous paid time off Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) and profit-sharing plans Flexible/hybrid work environment Flexible work attire Additional employee benefits and wellness offerings Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors Russell Tobin is an equal opportunity employer.
