Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Empowerment Wellness, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine clients' needs and establish therapeutic goals.

• Coordinating care among healthcare professionals and community resources, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for clients.

• Providing individual, family, and group psychotherapeutic treatment using evidence-based practices tailored to diverse client needs.

• Consulting with interdisciplinary teams to develop integrated treatment plans that address physical, emotional, and social factors affecting clients' well-being.

• Maintaining accurate and timely treatment documentation, including clinical notes and treatment plans that adhere to established medical records policies.

• Acting as a liaison with community agencies to connect clients with vital resources, including vocational training, educational support, and mental health services.

• Conducting disposition planning to facilitate effective transitions in care and advocating for client needs across various systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adult and geriatric populations, employing a client-centered approach that fosters trust and encourages open communication. In the future, there may be opportunities to work with child and adolescent populations as well. You will utilize your expertise to develop therapeutic alliances that empower clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
