Job Description

Join our dynamic Stepdown Unit team, providing high-quality care for patients with various cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor and assess patients’ health status, implementing care plans and interventions as necessary.
• Administer medications and titrate cardiac IV medications per protocols.
• Perform bedside procedures such as cardioversion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing and telemetry.
• Familiarity with titratable or cardiac IV medications.
• Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins and relief charge experience.
