Payroll Analyst - Up to $45 an hour.

A firstPRO client in Wilmington, DE , is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to join their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity lasting approximately 12-16 months. Compensation is up to $45/hour, and benefits are provided. This position is fully onsite in Wilmington, DE, so candidates must be comfortable commuting to the office five days a week. Position Summary Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Prepare payroll reports and analytics for internal and external stakeholders. Assist with quarterly and annual payroll balancing to ensure accurate tax filings. Support 401(k) funding, reviews, and audits. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Facilitate audits by providing payroll records and supporting documentation. Assist in developing, documenting, and testing payroll standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal checklists. Participate in acquisition integration projects, including system conversions, configuration, parallel processing, and validation. Develop and maintain payroll testing checklists and reconciliation procedures for system implementations. Assist with payroll testing and validation related to system conversions. Technical Requirements 5+ years of related payroll experience Experience processing complex, multi-entity payroll across multiple entities simultaneously Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) is required #J-18808-Ljbffr firstPRO, Inc
