AP Manager - Drive Digital Transformation in a Multi-Site Organization Platinum Recruiting Group, a leading Midwest-based recruiting firm, is partnering with our valued client, a stable and growing organization in the real estate sector, to identify a talented and driven AP Manager to lead their accounts payable function into the future. This isn't just another AP Manager role. You'll be at the forefront of a significant digital transformation initiative, taking ownership of the transition from predominantly paper-based processes to efficient electronic ACH payments. As the AP Manager, you will be instrumental in modernizing the accounts payable processes for our client, which operates across 22 different facilities. This high-volume environment requires a detail-oriented, organized individual who can navigate complexity and implement efficient solutions. Your Focus: Your primary objective will be to spearhead the transition from approximately 80% paper-based payments to electronic ACH payments. This will involve analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for automation, implementing new procedures, and ensuring smooth adoption across all facilities. You'll also oversee the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices, including complex scenarios such as multiple utility bills per unit (e.g., 105 separate bills for a single apartment building). Experience with Sage Impact would be a significant plus. Team Structure: You will directly manage a team of three Accounts Payable professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Company Culture: Our client fosters a stable and professional work environment where teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued. While they are currently operating in an office in Nora, they anticipate a potential move to a new office located at Main and 31 in Carmel later this summer. This role requires in-office presence five days a week to facilitate collaboration and team management. Qualifications: Proven experience in Accounts Payable management, with a track record of process improvement. Demonstrated experience leading the transition to electronic payment systems (ACH preferred). Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and best practices. Ability to thrive in a high-volume, multi-site environment. Familiarity with Sage Impact is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation: This role offers a competitive salary up to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
