Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a lasting impact by providing essential speech and language services to elementary-aged children for the 2026–2027 school year. As a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in grades K–5, you'll be instrumental in addressing a wide range of communication needs, shaping student success throughout their academic journey. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work in a vibrant, supportive school environment where collaboration with a dedicated educational team is key.
What You'll Need:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working within a school setting is an advantage
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve elementary students with a caseload of approximately 40–45, including those with articulation disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, pragmatic language deficits, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, fluency disorders, and other communication-related challenges
- Develop and implement individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Ensure compliance with special education requirements and complete all necessary documentation
- Provide direct intervention, consultation, and training as needed
