Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact with elementary students for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time contract role centers on supporting communication needs for students in grades K–5, focusing on a diverse caseload of approximately 40–45 students. The environment fosters collaboration, enabling SLPs to work closely with special education team members, general classroom teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers to deliver high-quality intervention and ensure compliance with special education standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possession of (or eligibility for) an active Minnesota SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in K–5
- Provide direct therapy for a range of needs including articulation, expressive/receptive language, pragmatic language, fluency, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed notes on student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate effectively with families and educators to advocate for student needs
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture while upholding all compliance standards
