Responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager : Maintaining and restoring health of resident patients Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families Addressing and preventing concerns from family members Qualifications for an RN Unit Manager: Associate’s degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required. Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required. One (1 ) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
