Job Title: Operations Project Coordinator, Partner Managed Sites

Location: Ohio History Connection, Columbus, OH

Status: Full time, permanent

Compensation: $20.00-23.00/hour

Position Summary:

This position coordinates daily general operations of the Site System Operations office and historic site system operations and will assist with coordination of communications with local management organizations within the statewide system of historic sites.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaising with HS&M Director, Dept. Manager, and Facilities and Major Projects re: work orders at sites
• Serving as a backup emergency contact for local management organizations to reach
• Project monitoring and reporting
• Responsible for the regular communications to and from sites and within the Ohio History Connection including the facilitation divisional operations meetings and monthly online meeting.
• Work collaboratively with the colleagues to plan, coordinate and execute the Site Managers' Meeting, held two times per year.
• Responsible for collection, aggregation, and communicating of visitation data
• Responsible for keeping track of receiving, recording and providing required documents outlined in management agreements
• Work to create, update, and maintain the historic sites' webpages. This includes the main page, historic site page, and event pages connected to each OHC historic site.
• Assist with facilitation and capturing of data and records retention around required documents for each local management organization.
• Assist with the development and implementation of a divisional retention schedule and filing system that supports the Historic Sites & Museums Division
• Liaise with Security & HR on incidents at sites. Follow up on risk mitigation, paperwork, insurance, etc.
• Coordinate with local site management organization on the submission of New Project Notification and liaise information to the New Project Team
• Occasional travel to sites
• Assist with development of procedures to maintain historic site system document with related retention schedule.
• Other duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field PLUS three to five years relevant working experience OR

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field PLUS one to three years relevant working experience.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in program and/or project creation and implementation
• Understand basic project management processes.
• Understand how evaluation data can be used for program improvement
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to manage a budget
• Proficiency in various office software and virtual platforms, including but not limited to, Microsoft 365
• Valid Driver's License
