IT Business Analyst

IT Business AnalystReady to make a difference? ICF is seeking an IT Business Analyst to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Utility Program and Services Group. The IT Business Analyst will support tasks within the software development cycle and be responsible for system data together with the business intelligence it provides. This position supports project delivery on IT projects for the energy efficiency and utility sectors and will contribute to a team that brings high-quality products and innovative solutions to our clients.What you will be doing:Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting toolsCommunicate regularly and effectively with team members as to the status of various tasks, including presenting during status update meetingsWork with stakeholders of IT systems to define the system requirements and assist in identifying the best design approachGenerate requirements specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentationSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activitiesEnter & track support requests ensuring their completionDevelop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and help identify improvements relative to technologyUnderstand the capabilities and application of ICF's IT systems to deliver solutions for clientsTrain users on IT systems and assist in troubleshooting issuesWhat we need you to have (minimum qualifications):Bachelor's degree in (Science, Math, IT, Computer Science, or related fields)1+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role; preferably in IT/Software delivery1+ years requirement specifications gathering, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentationComprehensive knowledge and experience in MS Office products, including Excel, Visio, Teams and PowerPointMust be able to pass background check with drug screeningWhat we would like you to have:Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plusExperience with issue tracking and document management tools such as JIRA, SharePoint and/or SmartsheetExcellent verbal, written, and consulting skillsExperience developing standard documentation, including requirement and design specifications, use cases, test plans and scripts and other supporting system documentationDemonstrated consulting experience with emphasis on customer serviceAbility to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlinesPay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$61,232.00 - $104,094.00Georgia Remote Office (GA99)
