Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in a full-time day shift role, Monday through Friday. The position involves explaining procedures to patients, assisting physicians with examinations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Key responsibilities include accurately identifying patients, using proper radiation protection techniques, and recognizing emergent issues to ensure optimal outcomes. Qualifications Include Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N) within one year of hire State licensure and certification as required by the state of employment Experience in a healthcare setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or student Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start Key Duties Explain procedures and address patient questions to ease anxiety Assist in examinations using standard protocols and sterile techniques Ensure accurate patient identification and record-keeping Apply radiation safety measures, including shielding and collimation, maintaining exposure within ALARA limits Recognize and resolve clinical or emergent issues during procedures Benefits include comprehensive health coverage retirement matching tuition and student loan assistance mental health support paid time off flexible schedules The role emphasizes safety, quality, and compassionate patient care in a supportive work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
