Accounts Payable Clerk

System One is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Antonio, TX for a 6-month contract opportunity with direct hire possible. Responsibilities include managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, including matching invoices, receivers, and purchase orders. Obtain invoice approval, lien waivers, and letters of credit. Verify approved insurance and bonds. Respond to assigned queries accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely communication. Research source documents and prepare basic accounting reports. Reconcile vendor accounts and develop positive relationships with vendors, procurement, and project management teams. Complete special projects as assigned by the manager. Maintain rental tracking spreadsheets and monitor the status of lien waivers from subcontractors and vendors. Participate in Invoice Transaction Log meetings and update logs accordingly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-year experience in accounting. Strong working knowledge of Excel (beginner/intermediate) and Microsoft Office (Teams and Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers. Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
