Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health|Psychiatric | Adolescent - Inpatient

Schedule - Shift Length: 12-hour shifts - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years acute behavioral health nursing experience - Travel experience required - Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), CPI (MOAB/MAB accepted) - Experience with inpatient behavioral health, crisis stabilization, and common psychiatric diagnoses including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders - Proficiency with Epic charting and Omnicell medication system
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide evaluation, stabilization, and treatment for patients in acute psychiatric crisis - Monitor and support patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring safety and a therapeutic environment - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including mental health counselors, social services, pharmacy, and other support staff - Perform case management tasks such as referrals and pre-certifications - Conduct reassessments and participate in psychiatrist rounds as needed
Compliance / Notes - Drug screen required within 14 days of start - Influenza vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
