The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in a senior care environment, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while supporting and coaching the caregiving team. Key Responsibilities Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Coach caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation Review charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP) Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly Support onboarding and mentor new staff members Promote safety, regulatory compliance, and smooth shift transitions Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma/GED, age 18+ CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred Additional Information The role combines frontline caregiving with leadership responsibilities, emphasizing professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
