Handle patient registration and scheduling, ensuring all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. Verify patient insurance and obtain necessary authorizations for services. Process referrals and work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, and managing patient flow. Maintain patient files, ensuring all records are up‑to‑date and accurately filed. Use Epic/APeX systems to manage workflows, track patient information, and ensure efficient operation of the practice. Handle invoicing, expense management, and other financial tasks as required. Work independently with minimal training, demonstrating initiative and problem‑solving skills. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of direct healthcare front office experience. Prior experience as a Practice Coordinator, Patient Care Coordinator, Patient Service Representative, Patient Access Representative, Unit Clerk, or Medical Receptionist. Strong proficiency in Epic/APeX systems. Experience with high‑volume patient interaction, front desk, and phone management. Proven ability to work independently with minimal training. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with leasing, invoicing, and managing expenses. Experience registering 60+ patients daily and working in a high‑volume outpatient or hospital environment. Proven experience with insurance verification and authorizations. Previous experience working with work queues (WQs). Prior hospital and outpatient clinic experience is a plus.
