Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, documenting each client's journey from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform the development of effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Create comprehensive intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing an array of therapeutic techniques that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and other evidence-based practices.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers—to design holistic intervention plans that address the entirety of a client's health and wellbeing.

• Manage follow-up care with treating psychiatrists or physicians for clients requiring inpatient support.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder a client's recovery journey.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones, enhancing the overall support system for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, encompassing individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will play a critical role in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to pursue their mental wellness goals. Understanding and addressing the unique challenges of each client is vital to this position.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and tracking of client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with clients dealing with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices and guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals on mental health.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• A strong sense of empathy and interpersonal skills that create a welcoming and trusting therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation of USD 80,000 to 100,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
