About the Role
The Company is seeking a Government Guaranteed Lender to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving the banking needs of small businesses, with a focus on building new relationships within the local business community. This role involves proactive sales and outreach efforts, including lead generation, referrals, and cold calling, to meet the goal of building a book of business and achieving an annual loan target. The Government Guaranteed Lender will also be tasked with driving relationship management, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and introducing product partners to provide a full banking proposition. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in SBA 7a loan production, a strong understanding of credit underwriting, and a proven ability to develop and expand relationships with centers of influence. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong network of referral partners. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a high-tech, mobile environment, and possess a high level of emotional intelligence. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for lending and technology skills including Microsoft Excel, Office, Outlook, and TEAMS is essential.
