Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create detailed treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, maintaining regulatory standards for documentation.

• Develop pre-crisis and crisis management plans in collaboration with clients and the clinical team to ensure their safety and well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of the clinical workflow to identify treatment impacts and improve overall outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support strategies based on ethical treatment practices.
\n
• Engage in licensing and accreditation activities to uphold program quality and certification standards.
\n
• Act as a liaison to various service systems, ensuring clients receive holistic care by coordinating with state agencies and community partners where necessary.

• Foster open and effective communication channels to promote agency initiatives and meet contract demands.
\n
• Network with local, state, and federal organizations to enhance program visibility and obtain potential new alliances and funding.
\n
• Continuously pursue professional growth by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and engagement in statewide meetings related to mental health.

• Adopt and integrate the mission, values, and principles of Empower Minds Therapy within all facets of your role.

• Complete additional responsibilities assigned by the Clinic Director as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve supporting diverse populations facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals undergoing substance use recovery, those with developmental disabilities, as well as clients addressing issues related to acquired brain injuries. You will utilize telehealth platforms to engage with clients, ensuring they receive the necessary support and interventions from the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field is required.

• Your LMHC license must be active and independent; if you are licensed in another state, we will assist in covering fees for licensing in Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a telehealth environment is advantageous.

• Expertise in using evidence-based treatment modalities is preferred.

• A background in crisis intervention and support planning is beneficial.
