2027 Future Talent Program - Global Safety & Environment - Intern

A 10–12 week internship supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives with a focus on biosafety programs and compliance across global operations. The intern will assist in developing, implementing, and improving biosafety standards while collaborating with EHS professionals and subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
- Support database migration, data editing, and digital tracking for biosafety programs
- Collaborate with biosafety officers on protocol reviews, training development, and risk assessments
- Track biosafety events, analyze trends, and identify root causes for preventive strategies
- Maintain and update biosafety manuals, guidelines, and web content
- Assist with change management initiatives and identify successful practices from global sites
Requirements
- Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in public health, safety, environmental science, biology, or related technical field
- Completed at least two years of college coursework
- Strong critical thinking and basic project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in dynamic environments
- Experience researching scientific literature using databases
Compensation: $39,908–$111,111 USD
