Make a real difference supporting students across multiple campuses near Mesquite, TX, as a Bilingual School Psychologist/Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. This is an on-site, contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, designed for dedicated professionals fluent in both Spanish and English. Work full-time (37.5 hours/week, M-F) in an itinerant capacity, delivering critical mental health and evaluation services to students ranging from Early Childhood (ages 3-5) through 12th grade. Your expertise will help guide and uplift students’ academic and personal development through direct assessments, ARD meetings, and collaborative intervention planning across a monthly caseload of approximately nine students.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential (issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists)
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Direct experience working in school-based settings
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual student evaluations and re-evaluations from preschool through high school
• Lead or participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
• Develop strategies, interventions, and recommendations for student support
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to foster positive educational outcomes
• Support multiple school sites as assigned, working with diverse student populations
• Fulfill district-required credentialing processes, including timely fingerprinting through TEA
