Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of clients, utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by each patient.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community and shared learning among clients experiencing similar struggles.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate and enhance holistic patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing timely support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain thorough and professional documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, reflecting a range of backgrounds and experiences. We work with individuals facing various mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. You will be working with both adolescents and adults, providing tailored interventions that resonate with each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with productivity software and tools needed for therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health counseling field is required, with a proven track record of providing both individual and group therapy to a variety of populations. Experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, as we value adapting to evolving therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
