Job Title:  Seasonal Human Resources Compliance Clerk

FLSA Status : Full Time- Temporary - non-exempt
Reports to: Asst. HR Director; HR Director 

Schedule: M-F 8:00AM – 4:30PM 

Supervises: n/a

Rate of Pay : $25.00

Closing   Date: 10/2/2026

Benefits : Temporary; Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:

• Sick leave benefit – 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire; sick time accrual is  pro-rated for part-time hours.)

Position Summary  

The Seasonal Human Resources Compliance Clerk will work collaboratively with the HR Specialists under the direction of the Director and the Asst. HR Director in aspects of seasonal personnel compliance including, but not limited to the collection, processing, documenting and record keeping for I-9 documents and associated support documents. Will act as liaison between the Intermountain Human Resources department, Divisional Headquarters, and Intermountain field locations to ensure that these activities are completed according to federal guidelines withing allowable timelines. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Collect I-9s and associated support documents for all seasonal Bell Ringers ensuring that the documents are completed fully and accurately 

• Process I-9 information directly to E-Verify 

• Record processing information including date and E-Verification capture number 

• Record the completion within HR’s Bell Ringer Tracking Log 

• Process TNC (Tentative non-Confirmation) information as needed 

• Archive hard copies of Bell Ringer I-9s with support documentation 

• Other related duties as assigned 

 

Education/Experience, Skills, Qualities, Requirements  

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required 

• Familiarity with Federal Form I-9 and the processing thereof is preferred 

• Strong interpersonal communication skills including writing, communication, and organization 

• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity 

• Good reasoning and sound judgement abilities 

• Demonstrate resourcefulness with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and expectations with frequently shifting priorities 

• Ability to maintain and promote a professional work environment
