• Conduct thorough client assessments through video sessions to gather relevant mental health histories and identify treatment needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with client goals, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions while adapting your approach based on the needs of each client.

• Assist clients in setting realistic, achievable mental health objectives and support them in their journey towards these goals.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation is current and comprehensive.

• Participate in regular team meetings and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

As an LCMHC with Actualized Self Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clients come from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, allowing you to utilize your skills in an inclusive and culturally competent manner. • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active LCMHC license issued by the state of Vermont.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and understanding in virtual sessions.

• Demonstrated experience working with a variety of clients, including personal experience and awareness of different cultural contexts.

• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively, while demonstrating strong organizational skills.

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a clinical counseling role.

• Experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an asset.
