AVP, Business Development Officer

Axos Bank Target Range: $80,000.00/Yr. - $100,000.00/Yr. This is a commission‑eligible role. Actual starting pay will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. About this Job As a Business Development Officer, you will promote commercial banking products and services to prospective clients and develop relationships with COIs while partnering with Marketing to expand brand awareness. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities within the bank's strategic sectors and refer deals to Relationship Managers. Build and maintain relationships with in‑market COIs and niche vertical organizations. Conduct sales activity: direct calling, networking activities, outbound phone calls, e‑mail, trade conferences, and appropriate social media marketing. Contact clients, community, and corporate organizations to generate new business. Meet individual sales goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of direct sales experience. Extensive experience in software sales. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
