POSITION OVERVIEW Desert Foothills is hiring a President. The President will play a critical role in the growth and success of our business by overseeing sales strategy, leading cross‑functional teams, and serving as a champion of company culture. The President will be instrumental in shaping strategic direction, driving revenue performance, and ensuring operational excellence through a strong and unified leadership team. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Business Growth Help lead and develop sales pipeline and backlog growth for design and install division. Lead the development and execution of sales and client acquisition strategies to grow the maintenance division. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, developers, and industry professionals. Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive top‑line growth. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to assess sales success and adjust strategies accordingly. Leadership & Operations Provide strategic direction and mentorship to departmental directors and key managers. Facilitate alignment across maintenance and installation services to ensure seamless execution of projects. Lead quarterly strategic planning and monthly executive team reviews. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability for designated departments. Culture & Organizational Development Act as the primary culture champion, modeling the company’s core values and reinforcing them across the organization. Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives through transparent leadership and people‑first policies. Support talent development, leadership training, and succession planning. Ensure consistent communication and alignment from executive team down through all levels. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably within a boutique landscape firm. Proven success leading and scaling a high‑performing sales organization. Exceptional leadership, communication, and team‑building abilities. Demonstrated ability to drive results while fostering a strong, collaborative company culture. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field (MBA a plus). Experience managing cross‑functional operations in a high‑growth service business. Familiarity with CRM platforms, landscape project workflows and business systems (e.g., Aspire) and financial reporting tools.
